Dr. Christoph Seidelmann
Dr. Seidelmann, a Frankfurt-based consultant, was, from 1980 until his retirement in 2009, the Managing Director of the Studiengesellschaft für den kombinierten Verkehr e.V. (SGKV) (Study Centre for Intermodal Transport, Frankfurt, Germany) with responsibility for a wide range of national and international studies. These studies have mainly been in the field of intermodal transport and logistics, such as the feasibility study for various new technologies of intermodal transport, logistic information systems, fleet management, automatic identification, tracking and tracing, electronic data interchange, container design, standardization and operation, container security systems, and others. Dr. Seidelmann also consults to the European Commission and German Government on questions related to intermodal transport, terminal investment, and public/private partnership in intermodal infrastructure investment. Prior to his retirement from SGKV, Dr. Seidelmann, also served as Co-Gerant, Société d’Etudes et de Recherche en Transport S.A.R.L., Paris, France; Vice-President Bureau International des Containers et du Transport intermodal, Paris, France; Chairman ISO International Standardisation Organisation Technical Committee 104 Freight Containers, Sub-Committee 4 “Marking, identification, communication”; Chairman, Task Force on ISO-Containers in DIN / FAKRA and Chairman, CEN European Standardization Committee Technical Committee 119 Swap Bodies for Intermodal Transport.
Mr. Anders Flensborg
Mr. Flensborg has more than 20 years experience in the international shipping industry where he has worked in a variety of senior positions and proved himself as an entrepreneur. After joining the British P&O Group in 1995, Mr. Flensborg later co-founded “ocean24”, the leading internet-based booking engine for the European ferry market. In 2002 he established the Agency for Maritime Transport Solutions aimed at the global project market (break-bulk). Mr. Flensborg, as the European Representative for a major US railroad, has become deeply involved in rail practices, policies, and markets in the recent years. In 2003, Mr. Flensborg became co-founder of Flensborg Associates as well as co-founder and Managing Director of Flensborg International GmbH. Both companies, based in Munich, Germany focus on business development and M&A mandates in the area of transport and logistics in Europe and North America.
Willard L. Umphrey, CFA, J.D.
Mr. Umphrey is Chairman of U.S. Boston Capital Corporation, which has acted as a private placement agent for RailRunner, and Chairman and co-founder of the Quantitative Group of Funds. Mr. Umphrey has over 30 years of experience in the finance and investment management business. Mr. Umphrey received his J.D. from Harvard Law School and an LL.M. in taxation from Boston University School of Law. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the Boston Security Analysts Society.
Leon Okurowski
Mr. Okurowski is Vice President and Principal of U.S. Boston Capital Corporation, which has acted as a private placement agent for RailRunner, and Vice President and Co-founder of the Quantitative Group of Funds. Mr. Okurowski has over 30 years of experience in the finance and investment management business. Mr. Okurowski is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy, received his MBA from the University of New Hampshire, and a Masters in Science in Taxation from Bentley College.
