RailRunner Announces Resignation of Dean Wise from Board of Directors

WALTHAM, MA, March 4, 2010 – RailRunner, N.A., Inc., the developer of innovative rail products and services providing low-cost intermodal transportation solutions to underserved markets worldwide, today announced that Dean Wise has resigned as a member of the company’s Board of Directors, effective January 31, 2010. Mr. Wise has been on the RailRunner Board since 2000.

Mr. Wise has resigned from the RailRunner board to pursue a significant opportunity at BNSF, which announced that Mr. Wise has been named vice president, Network Strategy and will be responsible for BNSF Railway Company’s Haulage Management, Interline Management, Network Strategy Development, Public Private Partnerships and Short Line Business. Mr. Wise will report directly to Matt Rose, BNSF chairman, president and chief executive officer.

RailRunner CEO and Chairman Charles Foskett described Mr. Wise as a good friend and valued colleague. “Dean has been a key part of RailRunner these past ten years, offering thoughtful advice and vital counsel on every major business issue and opportunity RailRunner has faced,” Foskett said. “Though he leaves as a member of our Board, Dean will always have a special place at RailRunner.
